AskNan's Travel Tips
Disposable Travel Guide
Travel Guidebooks are a wonderful tool, but say you are going to Switzerland and your thick guide book weighs a ton. Make copies of the pages pertinent to areas you will be visiting and toss them away as you use them. Makes for a lighter load and more efficiency.
Take the Night Train
If you are on a tight budget and want to travel around Europe, do what the college kids have been doing for years, take the night train from city to city. You won’t lose a day of sightseeing and you will save on a hotel room. Some trains offer sleeper cars for an added fee.
Best Currency Rates
Your ATM card usually offers better currency exchange rates in most foreign countries, check before you go, and if it is better, pay for items with a credit card.
